Terms of Service

1. Nature of the Service

PocketGC ("we," "us," or "our") operates an online directory and referral platform that connects Colorado homeowners with independent specialty contractors. PocketGC is not a licensed general contractor, subcontractor, employer, or home improvement service provider. We do not perform, supervise, manage, or warrant any construction, maintenance, or repair work.

2. Material Connection Disclosure

Contractors listed on PocketGC pay a flat monthly subscription fee to participate in our network and appear in our directory. This fee is not per-connection and does not affect ranking or placement within the directory.

3. Consumer Responsibilities

By using PocketGC, homeowners acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for: (a) interviewing and evaluating contractors before hiring; (b) independently verifying active Colorado state and municipal licenses through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA); (c) requesting and confirming proof of general liability insurance and bonding; (d) entering into written contracts directly with contractors prior to allowing work to commence; and (e) conducting their own due diligence on references and past work.

4. Contractor Subscription Terms

Contractors who join PocketGC agree to pay a flat monthly subscription fee. Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle. Contractors may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. PocketGC does not guarantee any specific number of connection requests, inquiries, or jobs as a result of listing on the platform.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: (a) use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access, collect, or copy data from PocketGC; (b) reproduce, redistribute, or republish our directory or contractor information for any commercial purpose; (c) submit false, misleading, or spam content through our contact forms; (d) interfere with the security or functionality of the platform; or (e) use PocketGC for any purpose that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

While PocketGC limits its directory to contractors vetted by real estate professionals, we do not guarantee, warrant, or endorse the quality, safety, legality, pricing, or final outcome of any work performed. The inclusion of a contractor on PocketGC does not constitute a legally binding endorsement.

By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree that PocketGC LLC, its owners, members, and affiliates bear no liability for any property damage, financial loss, personal injury, incomplete work, or disputes arising from services provided by any contractors found through our website. Any contracts or financial agreements are strictly between the homeowner and the independent contractor.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
